Four Greene County residents were elected to the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Greene County Extension Council in the Nov. 5 general election. They are Amber Kenan and Wade Wuebker.
Current members of the county Extension Council who were re-elected to 4-year terms are Shari Minnehan and Scott Weber. Julia Glawe was elected for a 2-year term filling the vacancy of Bruce Bahnson. Kenan and Wuebker will join the council in January 2025.
The new members will replace Brent Badger and Dustin Fouch.
Extension Council members make programming and budget decisions for Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Greene County. They work with decision makers, build relationships, and address local issues. “Extension Council members are advocates, stewards and everyday citizens who link people with life-changing programs from Iowa State University,” said Scott Weber, Greene Extension County Council chair.
